Meet My Junior Colleagues

CURRENT TEAM "W" MEMBERS

Kassi is a second year pharmacy student. She is working on a study related to shared clinical decision making in immunization services.	Hanifat is a 1st year PhD student. Her research interest is in pharmacist's role in immunization services.
Blake is a third year pharmacy student. He is working on a fall prevention project.	Oluchukwu is a PhD student and a Graduate Research Assistant. Her interest is in the area of shared clinical decision making in immunization services.
Amatallah is an undergraduate student majoring in International Studies and Public & One Health.

GRADUATED TEAM MEMBERS

Nick was a staff research assistant and then transitioned into a graduate research assistant. He is now completing his dissertation under Dr. Garza's supervison.	Heather Vance completed a project related to vaccine education for older adults. She is now doing her APPE rotations.
Tinia graduated from HCOP with her PharmD degree. After her residency, she is now a practicing pharmacist in Memphis.	Kavon is a pharmacist at Indian Health Services.
Jennie graduated with her PharmD degree. She is now completing her residency in Columbus, GA.	Yi has graduated with her PhD and now she is a faculty member at the nursing school at Anhui Medical University in Hefei, China.
Sura graduated with her MS degree in Fall 2021 and she now joined University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue a PhD degree.	Stuart McFarland was an undergraduate student in Team W. He now earned an MD degree from University of South Alabama.
Tessa Hastings earned her PhD degree in 2019. She is now an Assistant Professor at University of South Carolina, College of Pharmacy.	Lindsey Hohmann is earned her PhD degree in 2019. She is now Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at School of Pharmacy, Auburn University.
Ben Teeter earned a PhD degree in Fall 2016. He is now an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.	Sara Wattayanukorn is now a scientist at US FDA. She completed a M.S. thesis under Salisa's supervision.
Michelle Blakely completed her dissertation under my supervision, as a co-advisor. She is now an Associate Professor at School of Pharmacy in Wyoming.

Mr. Fella has been a steadfast supporter of Team 'W' for over 15 years. His unwavering spirit continues to inspire us, and he remains proudly designated as Team W's mascot
